Aequalis Vocal Group

Aequalis Vocal Group was formed in May 1998. At that time, it was made up of six singers. After its first concert, in August of the same year, and along with new memberships over the years, the group has interpreted a diverse repertoire of choral chamber music, from the Renascence to Contemporary; works like that of Howard Skempton and Arvo Pärt , and in between the contemporaries and themes of the Barroque, Romantice, Neoclacical and dodecaphonic periods. Upon the base of this ample repertoire, Aequalis prepared diverse themed cycles , centered on music and poems of Romanticism (2006), composers of the World War I and II (2006), music, painting and literature of the Impressionism and Expressionism (2007) etc.
The group has presented in the most important halls and churches in Buenos Aires: Museo Mitre, Museo Larreta, Quinta Trabucco, Facultad de Derecho, Iglesia Ntra. Señora de las Mercedes, Santa Catalina de Siena, Dinamarquesa, the Museo de Arte Hispanoamericano Isaac Fernández Blanco and the Casa de la Cultura del Fondo Nacional de las Artes, as well as in many other outstanding halls, for instance, the Iglesia Exaltación de la Cruz in Capilla del Señor, in the city of Mercedes, both in the province of Buenos Aires; at the Teatro Plaza in Mendoza Capital and at the Salón Blanco of the Municipality of Tandil.

Aequalis enjoys the institutional sponsorship of the French and German Embassy and the Estonian Consulate.
