Mariana González Lanuza

Mrs. Mariana González Lanuza. She comes from a family of musicians. She began her musical studies with María Teresa Corral at the age of five.
She began studying piano at age seven with Violeta H. de Gainza, Susana Kasakoff and Willhelm Opitz. She began her vocal studies with Alexia de Prat Gay and Edith Margulis and vocal chamber music under Willhelm Opitz.
She graduated with a degree in Choral Direction from the Catholic University of Argentina, with Roberto Caamaño, Marta Lambertini y Néstor Andrenacci as her principal instructors. She continued her study of coral music privately with N. Andrenacci during 1998 and 1999.
In 2002 she formed MAZ, an independent producer of contemporary music, with Antonio Zimmerman.

Experience
-Has sung with a number of coral groups since she was 10 years old
-Has taught in both privately and in institutions, including Director of the Music Department at the Kindergarten of Belgrano Day School from 1985 thru 1993.
-In 1996 she formed the choir T. C. A., and was it´s director until 1999
-In 1997 y 1999 she participated as Guest Director in the “Séptima Práctica”
-Worked in theater as a director and vocal trainer.
-Assistant director to Luis María Serra in Coro LL.
-In July 2007 she directed the world premier of the opera Clone by Antonio Zimmerman in the Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón (CETC).

Las Bartolitas, female trio.
Grupo Vocal Aequalis, chamber choir.
